Bear Paw Cookies

by - December 18, 2016

Hii everyone

Today I'm sharing traditional recipe for cookies that are usually made for Christmas and they are called Bear Paws. They are super delicious but not dry, and the best thing is that the longer they stay the more delicious they get so let's see what you will need.

This amount provides about 60 cookies so if you don't need that much you can cut the measures by half.

Ingridients:

3 cups of flour
1 cup of sugar
2 cups of ground walnuts
1 and half cup of fat
1 egg
4 Tbsp of honey
1 bag of vanilla sugar
1 Tbsp of cinnamon
1/4 bag of baking powder

Method:

Step 1. Preheat your oven on 180°C

Step 2. Mix dry ingredients in large bowl

Step 3. Add honey and fat while mixing

Step 4. Hand mix until mixture is well combine and leave to chill about 20 minutes

Step 5. Fill in mold for bear paws ( any fill in mold is good)
Fill mold little less then 1/2 since the dough rises and they are not meant to be big

Step 6. Bake IN molds for about 15 minutes( they need to be light brown) on
 180°C

Step 7. Leave to chill for 1-2 minutes before taking out of mold and roll in icing sugar
